HOW IT WORKS

I’ll arrange a meeting with you before the big day, either at your venue or my home studio, I am based in the beautiful village of Ladbroke in Warwickshire. Our cottage is opposite the popular gastro pub The Bell Inn, we can meet there if you prefer. This will give us a chance to discuss the type of photographs you would like from the day and I’ll be able to answer any questions you might have.

    Wedding FAQs

Do we meet our photographer before the wedding to discuss our requirements?
I think it is really beneficial to get to know each other before the day. Meetings are usually arranged at your convenience in our studio a few weeks before your wedding day, where you can arrange to book a portrait session, to allow us to prove how photogenic you are! You can then relax and enjoy your wedding photography with a familiar face!
What style of work do you shoot?
The style of photography on your day will reflect your taste and the types of images you prefer. I treat every wedding differently, and always try to capture the key parts and candid moments in a natural and informal way. Although not essential, It’s a good idea to shoot.
How long do you stay on the day?
I provide full coverage at your wedding from getting ready to when you sit down for your wedding breakfast. I can also stay for speeches, evening entertainment, first dance and even fireworks if required.
How many photographs do you take on the day?
There is NO LIMIT to the number of images I shoot on the day. Your proofs would represent the best of these – often over 1000 images!
Do you take any formal or group photographs?
A wedding is a precious photo opportunity for friends and family, so I would recommend a few of these important photographs. I always ask who and how many you would like in any groups. It doesn’t take too long for us to photograph these.
How do you deal with low light and bad weather conditions?
A good photographer should be able to capture your pictures in all conditions. Our professional equipment can deal with low light. I know many venues extremely well, but always arrive early to check out the current conditions and best locations.
What if I don’t like having my photo taken?
Most people say this! Don’t worry; I will discuss all your concerns before the day. Our photography is as unobtrusive as possible, to make you feel more comfortable and still get the shots you want from the day. Your pre-wedding shoot will help you become more relaxed in front of the camera.
Do you offer black and white wedding photographs?
I will usually include a selection on black & white images in your proofs.
Who owns the copyright to our wedding photographs?
Although the copyright is owned by Prestige Photography, you have an option to purchase your high-resolution images with FULL REPRODUCTION RIGHTS GRANTED.
How long does it take until I can see my photographs?
I know how keen you will be to see your photographs. Your proofs can be ready in just a few days.
What are the advantages of hiring a professional?
I am experienced in capturing beautiful images despite the often stressful conditions that a wedding can present. I are very friendly, yet assertive enough to organise groups efficiently and creatively. I find the best locations in bad weather and have the technical experience to take the very best images on your day. I like to capture close-up details as well as panoramic scenes. The equipment I use is specifically designed to capture perfect images in low light conditions, for example in ceremonies when flash is often prohibited. I always carry a full set of backup equipment. A wedding day can often take years to plan and cost thousands of pounds. After the event the only thing which remains are your images, so it is worth making sure they are the best they can be.

I also cover weddings overseas, Wherever you plan to get married I can be there to record it for posterity. Call Russell on:
